Di and I enjoy our hobby of woodturning. As time goes by we are becoming more proficient and adventurous
in our work.
Our Lathe is a Jet 1220vs which we have bench mounted in our workshop.
Here are some examples of our work:
This Ash bowl, with inserts was made by turning some dowels of Paduak and cutting to about
20mm long, then drilling the sides of the Ash bowl blank then gluing in the dowels. I was pleased with the outcome.
This was another experiment of gluing pieces together. This time I made an Oak sandwich with two pieces of ply wood as a filler! I was particularly pleased with the bullseye effect inside the bowl.
This pretty lidded box was made by Di, an example of great concentration!!
